Salutations!

No, don't go! Stay, read... buy...

Anila is a student with far too much free time...or at least, too much time avoiding homework. She would like to make jewellery while on flights, but having pliers and wire would probably be called 'bomb-making'.

Kindly do not steal any pictures from this site...OR ELSE I'LL CHOP YOUR FINGERS OFF AND STUFF THEM IN YOUR NOSE!

Bees Knees

This was an experiment into more symmetrical pieces, which as you can see, didn't turn out as planned - but as is usual in wire jewellery, turned out to be a good thing.

Dimensions: 5.5cm x 5cm (approx.)

Price: RM15

Sold

YY

More experiments, this time for variation in wire rather than beads.

Dimensions: 5cm x 4.5cm (approx.)

Price: RM15

The Sea is Angry

Name inspired by a piano piece by William Alwyn. Good song, actually.

Dimensions: 9cm x 2cm

Price: RM13

Inner Workings of a Mechanical Mind #1

There are three colours of wire in this piece. It's easier to tell in the earrings below.

Dimensions: 5cm x 3.5cm (approx.)

Price: RM18

Sold

Inner Workings of a Mechanical Mind #2

Well, it would be easier if the picture was clearer, I'll give you that.

Dimensions: 5cm x 2cm (approx.)

Price: RM20

Sold

Music Miscellany #1

I got this great big jar of mixed beads, and most of those above are from it. I'm still not quite sure why people say that orange and red don't go together.

Dimensions: 5cm x 4cm (approx.)

Price: RM20

Sold

Music Miscellany #2

I mean, it looks fine to me.

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 2.5cm (approx.)

Price: RM25

Sold

Pod People #1

*twitches* Actually, 'The Invasion of the Pod People' is a rather boring movie.

Dimensions: 5.5cm x 3cm

Price: RM14

Pod People #2

Perhaps I should find the more modern versions. They're said to be scarier. Uh, not that I'm supposed to be discussing horror movies, that being said.

Dimensions: 3.5cm x 1cm (not incl. earring hook)

Price: RM15

Watermelon

Made during one of my hateful Maths extra classes, oh, two years ago? Gosh, it's been two years already.

Dimensions: 4cm x 3cm

Price: RM14

Le gasp. An update? Shocking.

What would be more shocking - people actually reading this post. Which makes me wonder why I'm even bothering to write this, seeing as no one will read it, but meh. I've come this far XD

An update? How shocking.

Right. I do apologise for the lack of updates, but in all fairness, I've been in Uni. Even more shocking, I know.

The room's not that big, so I hadn't brought any of my pliers or beads and things with me. Now, however, I'm suffering withdrawals, so comfort be damned.

Hmm. I'm thinking of a Christmas special for you guys. You know, discounts and things. But I'm not sure about delivery in time o_O

And I'm not sure if there are still people looking at this blog.

Peacock Blues

Done in school, during the lull before trials. You can't really tell from the picture, but the lower left corner is actually jutting outwards - i.e. it's not a flat piece like my usual work. Just an experimentation into more 3-D sort of pendants.

Dimensions: 6.5cm x 4cm
Price: RM22

Inner Workings of a Mechanical Mind #3

Another done at school, this time when everyone else was skiving off school and the classroom was empty enough for the teachers not to bother to teach. This is enormous, and so would be more suited for a low necked top. Ooh, look at me giving fashion advice.

Dimensions: 10cm x 4cm
Price: RM25

Wind

Yes. That's a windchime. This piece is quite heavy, and more of an experiment gone right than anything. Comes with hoop earrings, with their own dangling chimes.

Dimensions: 8cm x 4cm (inclusive of the chime)
Price: RM23

Salaam, Effendi

Made on the same day as Inner Workings above. I tend to make my pieces at once, meaning I'll choose a colour, find suitably matching beads, and make a few pieces all at the same time. It's also a lot easier in that if I'm not at my workstation I don't have to carry around so many spools of wire/bags of beads.

Dimensions: 8cm x 3cm
Price: RM18

Kheper

Made during a Biology class, when we'd had to go to the 'Professional Room'. It was more a lecture-type room than anything, and my best friend and I sat at the back. I like Bio. I can do nonsense in class and still answer the questions.

Dimensions: 5.5cm x 4cm

Well, I do apologize, my dears, for the lateness. However, I am first and foremost a procrastinator, so I suppose you're all pretty much used to it by now. Still, I have updated, and with pieces that have not yet been sold. Huzzah!

As for updates with my jewellery making, I'm sure I've mentioned I make bracelets now. Perhaps the next post will be of that (no promises, though, you know me). Rings are still a little too tricky for me to sell.

I've also recently purchased a hammer - so flattened wire may be making its debut here, stay tuned.

Anyway, don't hesitate to contact me for anything you'd like - I do accept custom work, remember. Whether it's for a birthday or wedding or for no reason at all. Don't be shy to 'accidentally' send a link to this blog to your friends or significant others as a gentle hint, but more importantly, don't be shy to order for yourself.

Anila.

BnW

My first post of the new year. Meh. Hopefully there will be more orders this year. One can always hope. Magenta and silver craft wire, blackstone, and white howlite.

Dimensions: 5cm x 5.5cm (approx.)
Price: RM18

Christmas at Mum's

I made this with Christmas in mind, while I was having exams and dreaming of presents. Incidentally, this became a present.

Not for sale.

Hate

There are reasons why this is called what it is. However, this is not a personal blog. By the by, did I mention that I'm not in Malaysia? That means that I do not have access to my stock (unless I make new pendants) until about March. I didn't mention it? Oh well. Did now.

Dimensions: 4cm x 8cm (approx.)
Price: RM17

Sold

Mad Scientist's Wife #1

The name is random yes. Courtesy my sister. Because sometimes, even though I stare at the screen for long stretches of time, no inspiration strikes. Le sigh.

Dimensions: 6cm x 6cm (approx.)
Price: RM17

Sold (I think)

Mad Scientist's Wife #2

I wonder what it'd be like to be the wife of a mad scientist. Somewhat stressful, probably. Unless, of course, you took an avid interest in what he did and helped with experiments etc. And also, unless you were some sort of robot thing he created in lieu of human companionship. But I digress.

Dimensions: 3.5cm x 2cm (approx.)
Price: RM19

Also sold (I think)

Phosphorescence

OMG IT GLOWS IN T3H DARK FTW!!1!

Dimensions: 5cm x 4.5cm (approx.)
Price: RM20

Contrast #1

I like the colour combination more than anything, and it turned out rather larger and heavier than I expected. Shouldn’t have been surprised, really.

Dimensions: 7cm x 5.5cm (approx.)

Price: RM25

Sold

Contrast #2

Actually, I used the wooden orange bead here, so it would match the pendant more. However, it proceeded to slip off. Stupid large-holed beads. All the same, simplicity/complicatedness contrast works too.

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 0.5cm (approx.)

Price: RM18

Sold

Piezoelectric #1

Just uploading these makes me miss making jewellery. Darn exams.

Dimensions: 5cm x 4cm (approx.)

Price: RM15

Sold

Piezoelectric #2

Oh, and piezoelectricity is the ability of a few substances to produce electricity when pressure is applied. Quartz is piezoelectric.

Piezoelectric ≠ Electric pies.

Dimensions: 4cm x 3.5cm

Price: RM15

Piezoelectric #3

The beads used are made out of rose quartz. Unlike normal clear quartz, this is actually tinged pink. I have no idea why the pictures don’t really show this, but I can guarantee you that they are pink.

Just not the sear-your-eyes hot pink. If you want something like that, scroll down.

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 3.5cm

Price: RM16

Prettyprettyprincesssweetsixteen

Yes. Admittedly, I’ve used the name several times before, but only in my fanfiction.

My natural dislike for hot pink means I don’t usually make pink pendants, but I do acknowledge the fact that my tastes are not always shared by others (blasphemy!), so needs must.

Dimensions: 6cm x 3.5cm

Price: RM15

Hey, dears! Exams going on now, so I'd apologise for the late post, but only if I wasn't me. Aaaaanyways, hope you enjoyed, and do keep me in mind when Christmas comes up. My exams finish on the tenth, so maybe (MAYBE) I'll have enough time for a Christmas sale. When you actually get your stuff is a little iffy if I don't use express mail, but do remember you'll have to foot that bill.

Maybe next year, huh?

Toodles!
