Salutations!

No, don't go! Stay, read... buy...

Anila is a student with far too much free time...or at least, too much time avoiding homework. She would like to make jewellery while on flights, but having pliers and wire would probably be called 'bomb-making'.

Kindly do not steal any pictures from this site...OR ELSE I'LL CHOP YOUR FINGERS OFF AND STUFF THEM IN YOUR NOSE!

Kiam Siap #1

If you don’t know what Kiam Siap means, then you’re not Malaysian. If you aren’t Malaysian, then drop me a line and I’ll explain. Copper craft wire, red adventurine.

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 4cm

Price: RM15

Kiam Siap #2

When I don’t really have anything specific in mind, and when I’m trying new things, I tend to make a few items with the same theme. Keeps me in the same frame of mind, I suppose. Copper craft wire, red adventurine, faux pearl.

Dimensions: 4cm x 3cm

Price: RM13

Kiam Siap #3

The glass beads I used here came from this jar of similar coloured beads I bought in NZ. We counted out the number of beads, and got to 2000-something. It wasn’t that big a jar, either…something like the size of a marmalade jar, and – Oops. Digressing. Just buy it. XD

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 3cm

Price: RM10

Kiam Siap #6

Yeah, these are earrings…trouble is, I can’t seem to find copper earwires. Gold ones should do in a pinch, though. Or, if you’re not allergic to craft wire, I can make them out of the same copper wire I used for the earrings themselves.

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 1cm

Price: RM 15

Kindly turn down the Sun #1

Another name for goldstone is sunstone. It’s actually very pretty, like embedded glitter, but less garish. Silver craft wire, goldstone.

Dimensions: 6cm x 3.5cm

Price: RM15

Kindly turn down the Sun #2

Actually, my room is situated in such a way that I will never be woken up by the sun. I still have parents, however.

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 3.5cm

Price: RM14

30 June 09 ( Part Deux)

Stretch #2

This is what happens when a mistake becomes a good thing. Just goes to show that wire jewellery is very unique. Brown craft wire, mystery metal, glass.

Dimensions: 7.5cm x 3cm

Price: RM12

Stretch #3

I’d suggest you peoples stop reading these talky things and start the buyings. Buy…buy… it will make you happy…haaaaaappy… Magenta craft wire, clay.

Dimensions: 7.5cm x 3cm

Price: RM12

Yellow Rose

I cannot remember why I named this like I did, but I do suppose the green glass beads at the side are like climbing vines. Black craft wire, silver craft wire, resin, synthetic pearl, glass.

Dimensions: 5cm x 4cm

Price: RM13

30th of June (Part Uno)

Sinai Desert #1
Sinai Desert is the place in which turquoise was first mined. And the focal bead is, obviously, turquoise. Doesn’t anyone wonder who came up with the word turquoise, and why it has to have so many vowels in succession?

Dimensions: 4.5cm x 3.5cm

Price: RM12

Sinai Desert #2

The background for this picture was the piano bench... a little too shiny, but meh. As long as you can see the detail, I see no reason to retake the picture. Plus I think I sold the original. o.O

Dimensions: 5cm x 4cm

Price: RM12

Sinai Desert #3

Lalala, I'm too lazy to come up with a new talky thing for this one.

Dimensions: 6cm x 3cm

Price: RM12

Temporary

Not a real update, peoples. Just a way for a client to see her potential earrings.

And here are the beads I want to use for the pendants.

Pride

Ooh, ten points if you manage to guess why it's called that. *rolls eyes* I have only one more bead like this, so that's a total of two possible pendants I can make for you. So quick!
Dimensions: 4cm x 3cm
Price: RM13

Balance

There's actually gold and silver wire here. Can't really see it, but it's there. Originally, there were only the two side beads, but it was more aesthetically pleasing to add the middle one. The beads are made of the semi-precious blackstone.
Dimensions: 5cm x 4.5cm
Price: RM16

Sleeping Beauty

'Cause the beads remind me of roses, and the silver wire of climbing vines. Yeah, ok, shut up.
In a totally unrelated note, I watched the movie recently, and does anyone else agree that the prince is a bit of a pansy?
Dimensions: 4.5cm x 4.5cm
Price: RM13

Solid

As it says, this piece is rather heavy with beads... but not really, weight-wise. The original has been sold, but I can replicate the style with other beads. I did one for my mother, in blue and brown. The price may vary slightly, with the different beads.
Dimensions: 4cm x 3.5cm
Price: RM15

Satin #2

I had a satin belt thing that was this exact same colour. At least, I think it was satin. Oh well. The focal bead is blackstone.
Dimensions: 4.5cm x 4cm
Price: RM12

Girlie

I don't usually use pink wire, mostly because I'm not a fan. But I understand that it's a rather popular colour. I sold the original just recently, but, again, I can replicate the design.
Dimensions: 4.5cm x 3.5cm
Price: RM15

Well, here's a new post, people. Is it just me, or are the intervals between the posts getting longer? Oh well. Not like there are very many people looking at them. Sniff.

Oh, btw, Happy Birthday, Kat. =D

To everyone else, thanks for ending up on this page.

River in a Bottle #3

Though you can't really see it in the picture, the bead is clear glass, with a blue-and-white centre, giving the impression of a foamy river. In a bottle. Ahaha.
Dimensions: 4cm x 3.5cm
Price: RM13

River in a Bottle #1

A little different from my usual round pieces. Pretty flat, too. As the number 1 suggests, it was the first of the series, but for some reason, this picture got uploaded after the third. Hmm.
Dimensions: 5cm x 3.5cm
Price: RM14

Red Wine, White Wine

The magenta wire reminds me of the former, while the bead reminds me of the latter. I remember going to a restaurant that had this colour scheme, but can't for the life of me remember what the name of the restaurant was. Oh well.
Dimensions: 5cm x 3cm
Price: RM11

Nephrite Princess #9

Named so because a Chinese princess was buried in a coffin that was inlaid with nephrite. Coincidentally, the bead is China Nephrite.
Dimensions: 4cm x 3.5cm
Price: RM14

Intricate Ivy

As mentioned, the most intricate piece I have done to date. I have made several different earrings to go with this piece, but all have been sold without taking pictures.
*This piece is temporarily unavailable, as I have run out of the wire type. You can ask for it, just don't be surprised if I say you can't have it. XD
Dimensions: 5cm x 3.5cm
Price: RM20

River in a Bottle #4

The fourth in the series. Duh. I personally like that it's simple. It's a tribute to my earlier work.
Dimensions: 5cm x 3cm
Price: RM14

Apologies for the picture quality, once again. These are still the older pictures. And also apologies for the lateness of this update, but school makes me busy.

Anila.
